NEW CASTLE, Del.—Rain did not dampen the spirits of the nearly 1000 customers, vendors, and employee-owners of United Electric Supply who gathered at the New Castle, Del. headquarters on October 1 to celebrate United Electric’s 50 years of service excellence in electrical distribution and 20 years as an employee-owned company.
The United Electric celebration spanned the decades as guests were transported back in time to the 60s and 70s where they met with industry leading vendors. They traveled through time, via a portal featuring a pictorial history of the company, and emerged in the 80s and 90s to a showcase of the latest technology, products, and services utilized in the electrical industry. The journey ended as guests emerged from the 2000’s, where technology blossomed and the way we communicate and gain knowledge was forever changed, to enter United Electric’s celebration of the decades.
