Border States Electric (BSE) has announced several new managers.
| Shawn Burgad | Shawn Burgad has been named the northwest region business development manager for the company. Burgad joined BSE in April 1997 as a warehouse associate in the company’s Bismarck, North Dakota branch. He held various positions at the branch including city desk representative and inside sales. In 2001 he was named an industrial control specialist to support the sensor and safety business for BSE in the northwest region. In April 2004 he relocated to BSE’s Billings, Montana location and held the position of account manager. He then moved to the company’s Gillette, Wyoming branch when BSE acquired Miller Electric to work as an account manager. Before joining BSE, he worked as an electrician in North Dakota. |
| Michael Robinson | Michael Robinson has joined BSE as the enterprise risk manager. Robinson has more than 15 years of multi-faceted experience in the financial services, consulting, consumer products and technology industries. Before joining BSE, he worked at KPMG in Kingston, Jamaica; Bank of America in Louisville, Kentucky; and Fidelity in St. Petersburg, Florida. Most recently, he worked as a senior credit risk consultant at American Financial in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and American Association of Business Appraisers. He will be relocating to Fargo, North Dakota. |
Gary Daniel |
Gary Daniel has been named south central and southwest utility sales manager at BSE. Daniel joined BSE in January 2010 as an alliance manager in the company’s Amarillo, Texas, location. Before joining BSE, he worked at Wesco Distribution from 1999−2005 as a warehouse associate, warehouse manager, inside sales, operations manager and account manager. From 2005−2010 he worked at Texas Electric Cooperatives as an operations manager and account manager.
