SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Buckles-Smith Electric is proud to announce the hiring of Lance LaPonte, who joins the sales team as Account Manager at their Santa Clara branch. Working in both electrical distribution and manufacturing fields, LaPonte brings with him in-depth knowledge and experience of the electrical industry. His previous work as Territory Manager for Hubbell-Wiring, working in industrial and contractor markets, makes him a great asset to Buckles-Smith.
“Lance brings a tremendous amount of commercial industry knowledge to Buckles Smith,” said Brooks Hoff, Director of Sales South Bay. “He will position our company to better support our contractor customers. We are very excited to learn from his many years of experience”
Also joining the company is Jimmy Owens, serving the sales team as Account Manager in Santa Clara. Owens brings with him comprehensive knowledge and experience in industrial distribution and engineering fields, previously working in business development for US Fabrications and Director of Operations at Bart Manufacturing.
“Jimmy’s past experience managing large OEM accounts, specifically in the area of Value-Added Services and assemblies, will have a significant impact on Buckles Smith’s position in the market place,” said Hoff.
Recently completing his Masters in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M, Owens is a welcome asset to the Buckles-Smith sales team. His new role will help Buckles-Smith in their commitment to developing and building local teams to best serve its Northern Californian customer base.
