Co-founder of Electrical Contractors Supply Company dies at 96

Eileen Gaved died on Jan. 2, at the age of 96.

She was born in Butte, Mont. on Sept. 28, 1915.

In 1942, Eileen and her husband Don moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where Don worked as a manager of Graybar Electric Supply Company. In 1950, the couple founded the Electrical Contractors Supply Company in Pocatello, Idaho. Five years later, they opened a branch office in Idaho Falls, Idaho and in 1974 they opened the Design Lighting Center in Pocatello.

Eileen is survived by four sons, a daughter, eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Don, an infant daughter, her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
