ABB Installation Products Division is expanding its relationship with JD Martin, one of the leading electrical manufacturers’ representatives in the United States. JD Martin will now represent ABB Installation Products in North Carolina and South Carolina, in addition to its existing programs across Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Southern Mississippi, Texas and Nevada.

ABB Installation Products Division, formerly Thomas & Betts, is a global leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of products used to manage the connection, protection and distribution of electrical power in industrial, construction and utility applications.

“As ABB experiences increasing product demand, expanding our relationship with JD Martin enhances our supply chain and enables us to meet the evolving needs of our distribution partners in the North Carolina and South Carolina markets,” said Christy Tilton, SVP of US Sales for ABB Installation Products Division. “JD Martin is known for its extensive industry knowledge and ability to deliver comprehensive solutions for our customers.”

JD Martin’s representation for most products in the ABB Installation Products portfolio will begin March 15, with representation of Carlon® and Ocal® branded products beginning May 1.  As part of the expanded relationship, JD Martin will locally stock ABB Installation Products electrical conduit systems, fittings and parts in a wide range of materials, to offer same-day solutions for commercial and residential applications. Customers across the Carolinas will now have JD Martin as a local resource to provide proven service and support.

JD Martin represents manufacturers and is committed to the technical selling, marketing and training of electrical products to OEM, MRO, contractor and end-user markets through wholesale distribution.

With a portfolio of more than 200,000 products marketed under more than 38 premium brand names, ABB Installation Products can be found wherever electricity is used.
