Abraham Brand Passes Away

Abraham Brand passed away on January 11, 2016 at the age of 97. He was the founder of Standard Electric Supply in Waltham, Massachusetts, and started the business in 1952. Abe was known for his work ethic, innovative leadership, honesty and dedication to the electrical distribution industry. He continued to work for Standard Electric until two weeks prior to his passing.

Abe was a veteran and had served in World War II. He was the patriarch of his family, along with his wife, Rhoda, to whom he was married for 70 years.

Abe was an inspiration and role model to his colleagues, friends, and his loving family.
