ALBUQUERQUE, NM—The American Red Cross in New Mexico
received $6,990 from Summit Electric Supply after the Albuquerque
Isotopes scored 699 base hits during the 2014 regular baseball season.
Summit supports the American Red Cross locally and nationally, and has
made it a tradition to participate in the Albuquerque Isotopes Charity
Banner Program.
This year, Summit donated $10 for every Isotopes base hit during the
regular AAA baseball season. In previous years, Summit donated $100 for
every home run the Isotopes scored at home during regular season.
Albuquerque Isotopes mascot Orbit joined Summit Account Manager Greg
Carpenter for a check presentation on the Isotopes field on August 29th.
Carpenter presented Summit¹s donation to Josett Valdez-Negley, the
American Red Cross in New Mexico Interim Regional CEO, and to Regional
Chief Development Officer Betsy Skye Smith.
