Appleton Group, a division of Emerson Industrial Automation, announced today the appointment of Michael Robertson to the position of National Account Manager.
Robertson will report to Will Marcus, Director of National Accounts for Appleton Group, and be responsible for key National Accounts with regards to Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED), an industry-leading consolidator of electrical distributors with more than 500 locations in 45 states.
Robertson joins Appleton Group from Cooper Crouse-Hinds, where he served as a Regional Sales Manager for the company’s Pauluhn line of industrial and hazardous fixtures.
He also worked as a vertical sales and marketing manager for the Crouse-Hinds portable power group targeting markets which included the US military, port facilities, oil and gas refineries, mining, and food and beverage. Prior to Cooper Crouse-Hinds, Robertson was with ESL Power Systems selling intermodal and industrial pin and sleeve electrical power devices for similar vertical markets.
