SUMMERVILLE, N.C. — Atlantic Coast Electric Supply Company (ACES), headquartered in Summerville South Carolina, held its first annual Charleston area employee appreciation picnic on October 30th. About 75 people, including their families, attended the event in near perfect weather on what can only be described as a beautiful day at the North Charleston Wannamaker Park located on University Blvd.
Casey Getz, VP and the ACES executive responsible for the Charleston and Summerville geographic market said, “We’re here to have fun and looking around today obviously this event has been a tremendous success. There is a more important reason we are doing this. We wanted to show appreciation to those people that have made our success in this market possible. We don’t just employ people; we have a responsibility as a company to develop our team both as a group and individuals. We wanted to send a strong message of gratitude, especially to the families that depend on us for a good living and a great place to work.”
John Marshall, President and owner of Atlantic Coast Electric Supply, went on to add that he was so proud of this event that he really struggled to find the words to express his appreciation to the ACES team that put this together and made it possible. “This will certainly be the kind of activity we want to repeat throughout our footprint.
