FARGO, N.D. — Brad Kvalheim has been named northwest region manager for Border States Electric (BSE).
Kvalheim joined BSE in 1989 as an electronic service technician. In 1992, he became utility customer service representative and in 1995, Kvalheim became an account manager. In this role he was integral in coordinating five utility alliance agreements with multi-year commitments. He served as the branch manager in Sioux Falls. And most recently was the northwest region utility sales manager for BSE. In his new position Kvalheim will be located in the company’s Bismarck, N.D., location and oversee BSE branches in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.
BSE supplies products and services to construction, industrial and utility customers. The 100 percent employee-owned company is the ninth largest electrical distributor in the U.S. with nearly 1,500 employees and 55 branches in 13 states. Corporate headquarters are located in Fargo, N.D.
