Border States Electric Receives Hometown Pride Award

FARGO, N.D. – The Chamber of Commerce in Dickinson presented Border States Electric (BSE) a Hometown Pride award. The Hometown Pride award is given to Dickinson Chamber member businesses that invest locally and work to beautify the community.

BSE’s Dickinson, N.D., location moved to a new facility January 2013. The new building nearly doubled the square feet of the old building and allows for expansion due to the growth in the western part of the state. “As a result of the growth in Western North Dakota, Border States moved four branches into new facilities in the region within the last 18 months to support our customers’ needs. As a 100 percent employee-owned company, we are committed to our customers and the communities where we live and work. This award recognizes that commitment,” said Stacy Geston, corporate operations manager.

BSE supplies products and services to construction, industrial and utility customers. The 100 percent employee-owned company is the ninth largest electrical distributor in the U.S. with about 1,500 employees and 53 branches in 13 states. Corporate headquarters are located in Fargo, N.D.
