Border States Promotes Managers in Fargo and Lubbock

FARGO, N.D. and LUBBOCK, Texas — ­ Border States Electric (BSE) named Tony Serati as the corporate customer supply chain manager in Fargo and Stephen Major as the branch operations manager in Lubbock.

Serati has been with Border States for 13 years and most recently led the inventory team as the purchasing manager. He was previously supervisor of the strategic services team and had responsibility for alliance inventory and pricing management. He has also been a lead member of BSE’s storm response team.

Serati holds a bachelor’s degree in management information systems with a minor in computer science from North Dakota State University. He holds APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management and Certified Supply Chain Professional designations.

Major started with BSE in 2009 and has been in the Lubbock market for about four years as an operations supervisor. He also worked as a warehouse associate and warehouse supervisor. As branch operations manager, he will be responsible for the day-to-day success of the branch.
