Border States Electric (BSE) has named Kent Fischer as corporate operations manager, regional operations manager.
Fischer began his career with BSE in 1998 as a utility customer service representative at the company’s Bismarck, N.D. branch.
He most recently served as the northwest region operations manager.
Fischer has had a significant role in BSE’s storm restoration efforts at the branch and corporate level since 2005. He has also been involved in training and support during acquisitions and implementations.
With 1,400 employees in 56 branches across 13 states, BSE is the seventh largest electrical distributor and one of the 100 largest private employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) companies in the country. BSE is headquartered in Fargo, N.D.
