Border States Electric CEO Tammy Miller was recently featured on the cover of Area Woman magazine.
The piece about Miller, “CEO of her own life,” provides insight into her personal and professional successes.
“Much of my career success has been driven by three key leadership strengths,” Miller told Area Woman, “vision and strategy; communication; accountability.”
The article explores each element of Miller’s key leadership strengths. In addition to detailing her career with BSE, the magazine also covers her previous work experiences and even her life in high school and college.
Miller also discusses her philanthropic efforts in the article. “Giving back is part of my DNA,” Miller told the magazine. “It’s how I was raised. My parents taught me that giving of your time and talent is equally, if not more, important than writing a check.”
