Buckles-Smith Welcomes New CFO, Territory Managers

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Buckles-Smith Electric has announced that Chris Munson has joined the executive team as Chief Financial Officer and Christopher Dean and Kevin Machi join the sales management team as territory managers.




Chris Munson

Munson brings with her a wealth of operational and strategic experience as CFO of several successful companies in the Bay Area. She has led three IPOs, raised required growth capital from numerous venture and debt sources and has engaged in a variety of successful M&A activities for both tech and non-tech organizations.

Munson, who began her career at PWC and is a CPA (inactive), holds a BS in Business from San Jose State University. 

“We are fortunate to add Chris’ experience to our executive team,” said Art Cook, President and CEO.  “The addition of Chris enhances our ability to execute the strategic growth objectives we have for Northern California.”



      Christopher Dean

Christopher Dean has joined Buckles-Smith as Territory Manager for the North Bay. Prior to joining Buckles-Smith, Dean had been the branch manager for Grainger in San Francisco, and the territory manager for both Osram Sylvania and Shat-R-Shield calling on Buckles-Smith.




Kevin Machi

Kevin Machi has joined the company as Territory Manager for the East Bay. Machi comes back to Buckles-Smith after a 10 year hiatus. During his time away, he worked as an account manager and Rockwell Automation specialist for Royal San Leandro, and most recently as Regional Manager for Dialight.

“The addition of the Territory Manager role is a further commitment to the integration and a strengthening of our presence in the local markets we serve,” said Cook.
