HAGERSTOWN, Md. — James (Jim) Glenny has been promoted to Area Manager of CapitalTristate‘s Hagerstown, Maryland operating area.
Jim joins a group of seven area managers whose roles are a critical driving force within the organization. In his new position, Jim will lead and direct sales teams in the Hagerstown area.
Jim started his career at Tristate Electric in 1994 where he worked his way from the Gettysburg Counter to Inside Sales at York, Pennsylvania, and then to an Outside Sales position in the Lancaster/Reading area. He moved to Yale Electric in 2001, working for 10 years as an Outside Sales professional in the Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Chambersburg, Hagerstown areas.
Jim joined CapitalTristate in 2011 as the Branch Manager in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, where he excelled at customer and vendor relations, and at developing and empowering his team. He is especially known for his optimistic, “can-do” attitude, his ability to get results, and his collaborative management style.
Jim has attended Harrisburg Area Community College and the University of Industrial Distribution program at Purdue, and he has been involved in the 2015 CapitalTristate Mentor Program.
