Cerro Wire LLC announces that nationally experienced sales professional George Merritt has been appointed Business Unit Manager of Cerro Wire’s electrical distribution segment.
Merritt joins Cerro Wire from Aetna Insulated Wire, where he served as vice president of sales for the past 13 years. He was previously national sales manager of Circle Wire, a former sales division of Cerro Wire. In addition, he has held various sales and marketing management positions with Phelps Dodge, Triangle Wire & Cable, and Pirelli. He has a BS in Marketing Management from Siena College, in NY.
“Mr. Merritt’s background, experience, and excellent customer relationships make him a real asset to our company,” said Mike Ashworth, vice president of sales for Cerro Wire’s electrical distribution division. “We are delighted to welcome him back to Cerro Wire.”
Cerro Wire LLC, a manufacturer of copper electrical building wire and cable, supplies its products to wholesale electrical distributors and retail home improvement centers across North America. Cerrowire’s Electrical Distribution Division offers building wire for residential, commercial and industrial use. Cerro Wire is a Marmon Wire & Cable/Berkshire Hathaway company.
