City Electric Supply Opens Colorado Branch

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — City Electric Supply Grand Junction in Colorado opens its doors with a team of fresh talent on the western slope of Colorado.

Branch Manager Bonnie Mackey has a unique branch. Her team is comprised of people with mostly sales backgrounds who have diverse areas of expertise: they’re certified lighting consultants and designers, gear and drives specialists, and industrial and oil/gas field experts. Mackey believes her team has the power to help with all electrical needs and product demonstrations in any capacity. Her employees came from different backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common: they’re all new to City Electric Supply.

“We are excited for the opportunity to launch a new mindset in electrical distribution where a customer can feel like a partner, and our team can take them through the entire process from design to completion.” She said building relationships with her customers is a priority. According to Mackey, there are several competitors in the area and customer service and knowledge make her branch competitive.

Grand Junction is located in the middle of Colorado’s wine country with plenty of lakes, trails, and wildlife nearby. The building was renovated from a mechanical auto shop, so it required many months of cleaning and restoration to turn it into a supply house. It is strategically located on the I-70 business loop, so customers and freight trucks have easy access in and out of their store.

“We love the family atmosphere and the support we get from CES as a whole to move forward and create our own unique program to fit the needs of the Western Slope. We can’t wait to shock the Grand Valley!”
