City Electric Supply Opens Seventh Store in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Just 10 minutes from the oldest hotel and casino in the city of Las Vegas, a new store celebrated its grand opening event. Electrical wholesale distributor City Electric Supply (CES) recently commemorated the grand opening of its East Las Vegas branch, the company’s seventh store in the city. More than 100 people attended the celebration and helped raise over $1,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.

“The generosity showed by the community here in Las Vegas is the reason we can donate this amount to Make-A-Wish,” said VP of Operations David Hoyle. “We are proud to continue our support of this amazing community. A big thank you to everyone who came to our event and donated.”

The most recent partnership that City Electric Supply has with Make-A-Wish® was made possible by its social impact program, CES Cares. CES is a proud national partner of Make-A-Wish and supports its goal of granting life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

“CES Cares was created to help employees give back to causes they care about in their communities. Make-A-Wish gives them the opportunity to do that as the funds raised at each branch to create a positive impact on Wish Kids and their families living in their community,” said Social Impact Manager for CES Cares, Karen Gray.

“We are really proud to support Make-A-Wish and their work,” said District Manager Gary Schultz. “A huge thank you to our team and customers who made the fundraiser possible.”

The opening of CES East Las Vegas brought more than 100 customers to celebrate the newest addition to the city.

“Our grand opening was an exciting social event that allowed us to make an introduction to the community,” said Branch Manager Casey Williams. “This team and I are really looking forward to establishing roots here and helping build the community around us.”

Manufacturers like Lutron, Legrand, and Soligent joined the celebration and offered on-site demonstrations, several promotions, and exclusive deals to attendees only. The event also had raffle prizes and giveaways scheduled throughout the day, with the grand prize winner walking away with a Traeger Pro 575 wifi pellet grill and smoker.

“Having manufacturers come out for the event to support us means a lot to our branch,” said Casey. “This East Las Vegas location finally opening is going to allow CES to provide material and facilitate anyone’s electrical needs. Our team is excited to help out whoever we can in the Las Vegas area.”
