MIAMI — Michael Schulte has joined Classic Wire & Cable as Regional Sales Manager, Western U.S. Schulte is responsible for growing the company’s business as it expands westward. He will establish key sales partnerships, manage representative agencies, and help distributors achieve their sales targets.
Schulte brings to the position more than 20 years of industry experience including sales and management positions with Alflex, Southwire, Aetna Insulated Wire, and Atkore.
“Classic Wire & Cable is positioned for growth throughout the United States. Mike will focus his sales management experience and strong distributor relationships to develop the western half of the country,” stated Vice President of Sales and Marketing George Merritt.
For the past year, Miami-based Classic Wire & Cable has been rebuilding its supply chain to accommodate electrical distributors across the United States, ensuring its new factories provide high quality product to the marketplace, thereby reduce the industry’s reliance on Chinese manufacturers.
A key component of Classic Wire & Cable’s new supply chain strategy is a joint venture with Polycab India Limited, India’s largest and most trusted, UL-listed wire manufacturer.
