The Communications Cable and Connectivity Association (CCCA) announced the election of its new officers.
The elected officer positions include:
- Bill Kloss, OFS, chairman of the board
- Randy Mortensen, Anixter, secretary
- Scott Brown, General Cable, treasurer
Kevin Ressler of TE Connectivity and George Pruce of DuPont joined the officer on CCCA’s executive committee.
While congratulating the outgoing officers and members of the executive committee, Kloss said, “I’d particularly like to thank Kevin Ressler, CCCA’s past Chairman, for guiding CCCA’s growth and raising value to members and the structured cabling industry as a whole. I’m looking forward to CCCA’s continued growth and our tradition of being proactive on important issues to strengthen our industry.”
According to a news release, “CCCA, a non-profit corporation, has a mission to serve as the major resource for well researched, fact-based information on the technologies and products of structured cabling media to support current and future needs of the networking, IT and communications industries.”
CCCA member companies include Accu-Tech, AlphaGary, Anixter, Belden, Berk-Tek, , Cable Components Group, comCables, CommScope, Daikin America, DuPont, 3M, General Cable, Optical Cable Corporation (OCC), OFS, Panduit, PolyOne, Sentinel Connector Systems, Solvay Solexis, Superior Essex and TE Connectivity.
