MONROE, N.J. — Cooper Electric Supply associates participated in their second annual Warrior Dash Obstacle event in the Poconos, Pa. on August 27, 2016. Warrior Dash
participants conquered 12 obstacles that required wading through muddy water and leaping
over fire for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital charity.
This year, Cooper’s team exceeded their goal by raising $22,644 for St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital. The funds raised by Cooper and all St. Jude Warriors go directly towards
the St. Jude facilities, which provide the most advanced targeted cancer treatments designed
specifically for children. At the event, the Cooper team got a chance to meet Mya’s Warriors,
which is a team started by a local solar installer of a Cooper customer. He started the team in
memory of his daughter who was a St. Jude Kid but lost her life in 2013. The Cooper team was
proud to meet Mya’s Warriors and join him in honoring his daughter’s life.
“We traveled to Long Pond, Pa. and once again the Cooper team, the Cooper organization,
friends and family did not disappoint, representing the cause the only way that we know how —
with pride, class, determination, and a heartfelt desire to truly help the St Jude’s Kids,” said Tom
Brady, Sr. VP of Sales, Cooper Electric Supply.
The Cooper team looks forward to returning for the third time in 2017 to support the children of
St. Jude in another Warrior Dash event.
