Cooper Lighting Solutions Launches New Program for Builders

PEACHTREE CITY, GA – Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, announced today that it has launched a complimentary rewards-based Builder Program for the residential builder community. The program provides access to the latest HALO solutions that fit the builder’s need and budget, lets them take advantage of special rebates and perks, and get faster go-to-market delivery.

This program is in line with Cooper Lighting Solutions’ goal to be customer-centric. We want to ensure builders understand the latest technologies and solutions that can fit their homes, get access to high-quality lighting products to their jobsites faster, and get rewarded with exclusive perks and rebates on indoor, outdoor, and smart lighting products that are tailor-made for them to drive higher revenue and growth. With three different tiers of product rebates, any builder—large, mid-sized, or small—is eligible to participate.

Commenting on this launch, Eric Jerger, Head of Indoor at Cooper Lighting Solutions, said, “Customer-centricity is a priority for us, as is the builder community. We understand the requirements of builders – they want the latest solutions that fit their budget and want to install them within their project timeline. The Builder Program is meant to address these requirements —we want our partners to succeed and are committed to keeping them updated on the latest, most innovative solutions that fit the needs of their business.”

As per the ProBuilder Market Intelligence report, as of December 2020, residential building permits increased by 24.5% as compared to the previous year. Additionally, NAHB’s Housing Trends report revealed a significant shift in interest for newly built homes among prospective homebuyers in Q4-2020 compared to a year ago. Similarly, a recent article in The Washington Post stated that NAR chief economist Lawrence Yun predicts new-home sales will jump 21 percent and existing-home sales will climb 9 percent in 2021.

Launched with some of the top builders in the North America region last week, this program aims to provide solutions that are easy to use, quick to market, future-proof, and don’t require endless upgrades and support. Builders can now benefit from innovative single products that allow them to do more with fewer SKUs—effectively one product with multiple functionalities and options to customize that contractors can use as per the builder’s specifications. The Builder Program aims to help builders connect with Cooper Lighting Solutions, thus removing extra layers and processes in product sourcing. This will provide them with superior quality products at competitive prices while decreasing installation time and allowing them to build homes faster. Ultimately, the aim is to improve builders’ bottom line and enable them to grow and succeed.

HALO has been voted as the preferred brand of builders for 23 years according to Builder Magazine.
