Crescent Electric to Acquire Mesco Electrical Supply

EAST DUBUQUE, Ill.—Crescent Electric Supply Company has signed an agreement to purchase Milford, OH based Mesco Electrical Supply (Mesco). Founded in 1981, Mesco is an IMARK member and a recognized regional supplier of electrical products in central and southern Ohio. The transaction is scheduled to close by January 1, 2017.

Mesco serves commercial and residential contractors and industrial customers from three branch locations – two in Cincinnati (Milford and Cleves/Miamitown) and one in New Bremen. The Company is known for providing excellent customer service and support to its broad base of customers by a dedicated group of 19 employees.

“We are thrilled at the opportunity to acquire Mesco, a company that shares our vision and dedication to the industry,” noted Marty Burbridge, Crescent Electric president and CEO. “Under Crescent ownership, Mesco will continue to operate with the same employees, leadership team, suppliers and customers. We will leverage our companies’ respective strengths to grow our business in these key markets.”

Speaking of the acquisition, Mesco president Joel Hagerman noted “Our customers will continue to receive the highest level of support and they will also benefit from many additional services available through Crescent. In addition, our employees will have extensive opportunities for training and professional development under Crescent ownership.”

Mesco Electrical Supply will continue to operate from its three Ohio facilities. Customer and supplier
contacts will remain unchanged.
