Dakota Supply Group (DSG) has acquired Pipeline Supply, a successful distributor of plumbing, HVAC, hydronics and well supplies with five Minnesota locations: Grand Rapids, Ham Lake, Monticello, Oakdale and Hopkins (where the company also has an 8,000-square-foot showroom). Pipeline Supply will retain its name and staff, and while it will become a division of DSG, virtually all business operations will function per normal for both customers and manufacturers alike. This acquisition of Pipeline Supply will add more than 100 employee owners to DSG.
Beyond the compatibility in product selection, the two companies share many of the same attributes, including an organization-wide commitment to treating both customers and manufacturers as partners. “Our focus has always been on the success of our customers,” says Todd Kumm, CEO of DSG. “Pipeline Supply shares that same philosophy, and that means that this partnership will prove to be beneficial for everyone we work with.”
