Dickman Supply’s Green Energy Solutions (GES) has been awarded Dayton Power & Light’s (DP&L) 2011 Channel Partner of the Year Award.
According to the Sidney Daily News of Ohio, Dickman Supply was given the award because in the past year, the company consulted DP&L customers on more than 200 projects aimed at reducing energy. These projects made up more than $200,000 of DP&L’s awarded rebate projects.
This is the company’s second time winning the award; Dickman Supply won the Channel Partner of the Year Award in 2009 and came in as runner-up in 2010.
Dickman Supply’s Vice President Doug Borchers told the newspaper, “We are honored to be a repeat winner of DP&L’s Channel Partner of the Year award. We strive to optimize our clients’ energy usage and maximize their returns on investment. When combining the DP&L rebate program with currently available tax deductions, lower demand penalties, and ongoing energy savings, most of these energy upgrade projects are paying for themselves in less than a year, showing more than 100 percent return on investment, while the company continues to enjoy the significant savings on their electric bill for many years to come. In addition, the end result is a higher-quality, more energy-efficient, and totally modernized lighting system.”
According to the company website, “GES is a division of Dickman Supply, Inc. with the sole focus of consulting on energy efficiency projects. We work with building owners and their contractors to maximize the energy savings and return on investment by designing the optimum system to take advantage of all the currently available perks and benefits of greening your business.”
Dickman Supply has three Ohio locations—in Sidney, Greenville and Celina.
