DistributED Podcast: Government Affairs Update

The Biden Administration has signed an order requiring all civilian federal workers, and employees of federal contractors, to provide a proof of vaccination.

But, just last week, a federal appeals court ordered OSHA to “take no steps to implement or enforce the mandate until further court order”.

So, what happens now? And will there still be upcoming vaccine mandate deadlines?

To clear up the confusion, NAED’s Vice-President of Government Affairs and Strategic Programs Ed Orlet, and NAED’s Legal Counsel Ian Reynolds joined the “DistributED with tED magazine” podcast to discuss the latest on the mandate, plus the newly signed infrastructure plan and what could potentially happen with the Biden Administration’s “Build Back Better” program.

You can contact Ed Orlet at eorlet@naed.org and Ian Reynolds at ireynolds@naed.org.
