PLYMOUTH, Minn. — Dakota Supply Group (DSG) has hired Mike Stordahl as Corporate Segment Manager of its waterworks business segment and based in Plymouth, Minnesota. In this role, Stordahl will be responsible for the growth and development of DSG’s waterworks business across its entire footprint, as well as working directly with DSG’s waterworks supplier partners to ensure a world-class experience throughout its waterworks customer base.
Stordahl is a 35-year veteran of the waterworks industry and has spent significant time in both the contracting and distribution sides of the waterworks business. This includes more than 20 years in his family business, Minnesota Pipe, where he and his family developed this into a leading waterworks distributor. Since the acquisition of Minnesota Pipe in 2018, Stordahl had been working for Hayes Pipe and Supply in Nashville, Tennessee.
“Mike’s network of waterworks vendors and contractors throughout our territories gives DSG incredible footing in these markets,” says Brandon Emineth, DSG’s Vice President of Mechanical Sales. “His knowledge of the industry and our markets, coupled with his experience developing a highly successful waterworks distribution business, make Mike the ideal leader to help DSG grow and develop our waterworks business segment.”
