MUSKEGON, Mich. — EarthTronics recently announced that is has appointed Birgit Collins as Regional Sales Manager.
Prior to joining EarthTronics, Collins was the Midwest Regional Sales Manager for Havells USA, a division of Havells Sylvania, where she was responsible for commercial/industrial lamp, ballast, and luminaire sales in the Midwest covering a 13 states. Birgit has successfully recruited and trained manufacturer representation agencies in the Midwest resulting in a solid customer base of distribution, ESCOs, lighting specifiers and end users.
“Collins has demonstrated an ability of building a strong sales network, while establishing excellent relationships with ESCOs, lighting specifiers and customers,” said Kevin Youngquist, Executive Vice President North America. “Her passion for energy efficient lighting and her ability to connect with different audiences will be a very important asset to EarthTronics as we continue to expand our sales operations and deliver energy efficient lighting solutions for our distributors, retailers and customers.”
Before joining Havells USA, Collins served as an account sales manager at Fitzgerald Lighting & Maintenance Co., Aurora, Ill., Midwest Industrial Sales Manager at ETi Solid State Lighting, Inc., Cleveland, Ohio, and Regional Sales Director at Lumiga LLC, Oak Brook, Il.
Collins is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society, Association of Small Foundations and a board member for the Delta Foundation North America (NPO). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism at Southern Illinois University.
