CLEVELAND — Power management company Eaton today announced that Harpreet Saluja has been appointed senior vice president, corporate development and planning. In this role, Saluja will be responsible for leading the global corporate development and planning function. Saluja will continue to report to Rick Fearon, vice chairman and chief financial and planning officer.
“Harpreet has played a key role in Eaton’s growth strategy for well over a decade,” said Fearon. “She has been instrumental in executing the acquisition strategy we have used to drive company growth and change the mix of our business.”
Saluja joined Eaton’s corporate development department in 1998 and has held positions of increasing responsibility. She had served as vice president, Corporate Development and Planning since 2008. Prior to joining Eaton, she worked at Tenneco Automotive with roles in
International Business Development and Global Integration.
She holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s in law and a bachelor’s in psychology and mathematics from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India.
