Eaton Employees Volunteer at Camp George L. Forbes

CLEVELAND, Ohio — More than 350 employees from power management company Eaton volunteered at Camp George L. Forbes May 15 and 16. Employees from six Eaton Greater Cleveland locations completed nearly 50 projects during the two-day event.

“Around the world our employees give generously of their time and funds in the communities where we live and work,” said Taras G. Szmagala, Jr., senior vice president, Public & Community Affairs and Corporate Communications. “We appreciate the opportunity to roll up our sleeves at Camp George L. Forbes to show our support of the local community and deliver on our commitment to make our communities stronger.”

Over the course of the two day event, Eaton volunteers completed 50 projects painting residential cabins, building benches and cabinets, upgrading to energy efficient lighting, landscaping, installing a low ropes course, building a fire circle and building boat storage.

“Eaton’s impact will be felt long after the project and will provide an enhanced experience for children and seniors for years to come,” said Debra Kusa, Camp Manager. “We are honored they have selected us as a recipient for their annual service day.”
