Eaton Reviews Anti-Counterfeiting Tips with Contractors Network

Eaton announced it is discussing the dangers posed by counterfeit electrical products with members of the Eaton Certified Contractors Network (ECCN) during a training webinar on Tuesday, August 12. ECCN is a nationwide service for contractors, residential service electricians, and commercial contractors, providing members with advanced training, business materials, ways to communicate and stay connected, and more.

Tom Grace, brand protection manager, Eaton’s Electrical Sector – Americas, will present the dangers that counterfeit electrical products pose to contractor and customer safety and potential costs associated with counterfeit electrical products. Grace will also review key steps for identifying and avoiding counterfeits.

Each month, Eaton hosts an exclusive training webinar for ECCN members. These webinars are designed to provide members with a competitive edge by furthering their knowledge on the electrical products they work with on a daily basis.

Participants of the webinar will learn about how the increasing sophistication of counterfeiters is making it more difficult to identify counterfeit electrical products and why avoiding them is important to the health and economic safety of workers and clients.
