ELECTRI International Names New Director

Jared Christman has joined ELECTRI International, in partnership with the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), as Director of Construction Technology.

With more than 20 years in the electrical construction industry, Christman’s experience includes BIM, VDC, and mapping and surveying utilities. He has extensive software knowledge of applications like Autodesk Revit and NavisWorks, used to create 3D models for high-quality buildings and infrastructure. Christman ran his own company, BIM|CAD Solutions, which offers 3D modeling from completed 2D construction documents.

Christman comes to ELECTRI from serving as a VDC Manager for NECA contractor Big State Electric in San Antonio. He has maintained an active involvement with NECA, lecturing at various NECA education courses at the NECA Convention and Trade Show, at the MEP Innovation Conference in Tampa, Florida, and as a recurring guest on the NECA Innovation Overload Podcast. He will continue his involvement with the NECA Innovation Task Force, where he will serve in a consulting capacity.

In accepting the position with ELECTRI International, Christman noted, “It is such an honor to be able to share the knowledge I’ve gained over my career with the industry. I look forward to starting to identify some of the tech stacks that NECA contractors use to develop a smooth workflow for all stages of electrical construction.”
