RALEIGH, N.C.—Electrical Equipment Company (EECO) announced today that they are continuing their expansion with the acquisition of Williams Supply Inc. The acquisition, combined with EECO’s recent acquisition of the Lynchburg, VA branch of Eck Supply, extends EECO’s Rockwell territory throughout Virginia. The combination will place EECO among the largest distributors of Rockwell products in the U.S.
Founded in 1946 and based in Roanoke, Williams Supply operates five locations with 58 employees serving the I-81 corridor of Virginia. Williams is an authorized Rockwell Automation distributor and serves a diverse, heavy industrial market including metals, paper, rubber, automotive, and food and beverage. They will continue to operate under the Williams Supply name.
Tom Moody, President and CEO of Williams Supply, stated that “this is a natural fit with a lot of synergy. We are increasing our combined capabilities and providing tremendous opportunity for our employees.”
