Elliott Electric Supply Acquires AMO Electric Supply Company

Nacogdoches, Texas – Elliott Electric Supply has acquired AMO Electric Supply of Rogers, Ark. Elliott Electric Supply was established in 1972 in Nacogdoches, Texas and has grown to over 100 locations in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. AMO was established in January 1961, and has developed a fine reputation over the last 53 years in Northwest Arkansas, with branches in Rogers, Fayetteville, and Siloam Springs.

The acquisition strengthens Elliott’s position as the leading distributor of electrical and industrial automation supplies throughout the southern states, and allows Elliott to expand their reach in the Northwest Arkansas region. The owner of AMO, Bryan Oberlender, wanted his employees to have the advantage of being part of a larger company. Elliott Electric Supply will now have five locations in the northwest Arkansas market, providing more locations and inventory than any of their competitors.

The new branches will be operated as Elliott Electric Supply, with the Area Manager, David Christenberry, providing overnight service from Springdale. The AMO locations will now have access to over $100,000,000 in inventory from 126 locations, and will be a part of Elliott’s advanced computer network including electronic order entry, mobile apps, real-time tracking of orders, and support from corporate.
