Kathy Jo Van and Stacey Felzer are electrical industry veterans who have earned the respect of colleagues and peers over an extended period of time. The women have created a new program called the “Empowering Women Mentorship Program”, and its first class just wrapped up in mid-November. Participants, both mentors and mentees, all said they learned more than they imagined.
In this “DistributED with tED magazine” video podcast, Van and Felzer discuss plans for the next class, what inspired them to start this program, and what it means to have opportunities like this in the next year.
