In this issue of “The Good Stuff”, the team at EB Horsman took part in The Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer, a two-day cycling event dedicated to raising funds and awareness for cancer research and patient care.
JULY 28, 2025 — This past weekend, the team at EB Horsman took part in an extraordinary event that not only challenged us physically but also brought us together for a cause that’s close to our hearts. We are proud to have participated in The Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer, a two-day cycling event dedicated to raising funds and awareness for cancer research and patient care. This year alone, we raised over $13,753 through the Enbridge Tour Alberta Ride for Cancer!
A Ride with a Purpose
The Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer is more than just a cycling event; it’s a movement aimed at making a difference in the fight against cancer. Riders from across the province gathered to embark on this journey, united by a shared commitment to supporting those affected by cancer and advancing research that brings us closer to a cure. For us at EB Horsman, participating in this event was a powerful way to demonstrate our dedication to community and philanthropy.
Our Team’s Journey
Our team of enthusiastic riders, comprising employees, family members, and friends, trained rigorously in the months leading up to the tour. The event kicked off early Saturday morning with an air of excitement and determination. Over the course of two days, we rode through picturesque landscapes, faced challenging terrains, and experienced moments of both triumph and camaraderie.
Every mile we rode reminded us why we do this. We ride to honour those we have lost to cancer, to stand with those still fighting, and to support the research that brings us closer to a cure. The encouragement from supporters and fellow riders along the way kept us going and strengthened our resolve to finish strong.
Making an Impact
Our participation in The Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer was not just about the ride itself but also about the impact we could make. Through the generous contributions of our sponsors, donors, and supporters, we were able to raise a significant amount of money for cancer research and patient care. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to breakthroughs in treatment and ultimately, a cure.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported our team—whether through donations, words of encouragement, or joining us on this journey. Your contributions have made a tangible difference in the fight against cancer and have helped us achieve our fundraising goals.
Patrick Moland, Business Development Southern Alberta said “This is my 7th year doing the Tour Alberta, formerly the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Everybody knows someone that has been affected by cancer in some way. I have personally had a cancer diagnosis, extensive testing, surgery, chemotherapy and recovery. This has been my way to give something positive back for others that are going through similar circumstances.”
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on this unforgettable weekend, we are filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. The Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer has strengthened our resolve to continue supporting cancer research and patient care initiatives. We look forward to participating in future events and finding new ways to give back to our community.
Thank you for being part of this incredible journey with us. Together, we can make a difference and move closer to a world without cancer.
Thank You team! Everyone Builds Horsman.
