AUSTIN, Texas — Epicor Software Corporation recently announced that its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Kathy Crusco has been named “Best CFO in Central Texas,” in the category of large private company, by the Austin Business Journal.
Crusco accepted the award July 14 at a reception for award nominees hosted by the journal in conjunction with MHBT, Inc., Wells Fargo and PwC at the Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas. Now in its 9th year, the annual Best CFO Awards program honors outstanding CFO’s in Central Texas. Crusco is featured in the journal’s July 15 special CFO Awards section.
Under Crusco’s leadership, Epicor has enjoyed a strong financial position and reputation. Crusco has played an integral role in forging the company’s leadership position in the enterprise software space through innovative financial growth strategies. Most recently, she orchestrated the pending acquisition of Epicor by global private equity firm KKR & Co.
Prior to this, she led the company through its most pivotal chapter in its history — the bringing together of Epicor Software and Activant Solutions in 2011 to form a combined single midmarket company with annual revenues of $825 million. Following this, she executed strategies to help drive the company’s growth to almost $1B in revenues prior to orchestrating the divestiture of a $150M business division that was outside the company’s core growth objectives.
