FDL’s McFarland Wins Rockwell Sales Promotion

SIDNEY, Ohio – FDL Automation & Supply Company, an electrical distributor serving west central Ohio, today announced that Eric McFarland, an inside sales representative for the company, recently won the Rockwell Automation Competitive Edge ‘Follow the Wire’ sales promotion. McFarland was the top sales performer within the Cleveland district for Rockwell Automation in 2013.

“This is a huge honor for Eric and FDL Automation, given our relatively compact area of primary responsibility (APR),” said Rob Zielsdorf, FDL vice president of sales. The company represents six west central Ohio counties for Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. 

“Eric’s hard work and dedication have paid off, and we congratulate him on such an outstanding job,” Zielsdorf commended. “Our employees continue to set FDL Automation & Supply apart from competition big and small.”

McFarland, 33, joined FDL in 2005 and has held a variety of important roles including warehouse/logistics, delivery driver, counter sales, automation specialist, and MRO/VMI specialist. He has been a part of the inside sales team since December 2012.
