FLIR is proud to announce a promotion and two new employees.
Paul Alger has been promoted at FLIR to Strategic Account Manager, Electrical. Alger has 26 years of sales and marketing experience in managing the electrical distribution channel. His previous role was National Account Manager, with IDEAL Industries. He has also held positions in Sales, Marketing & Finance with Greenlee/Textron, Cooper Industries and Ford Motor Credit. Alger holds degrees from Northern Illinois University, University of Wisconsin and Universite de Paris – Sorbonne.
Patrick C Elliott has joined FLIR as the Distribution Development Manager responsible for the South Region. Elliott brings a wealth of knowledge in Channel Management and Instrumentation. In his previous position, he was instrumental in aiding IDEAL Industries’ Test and Measurement division to become a major supplier of test equipment to the electrical distribution channel . Prior to his time with IDEAL, Elliott spent 25 successful years with Fluke in Direct Sales and Distribution Channel Management.
Jim Huekels has joined FLIR as the Distribution Development Manager. He will be responsible for developing distribution relationships and channel strategy for the Central Region for FLIR Systems. Huekels has 20 years of sales experience in managing the electrical/industrial distribution channels. His most recent position was as a National Account Manager at Panduit. Other roles include Regional Sales Manager at Emerson Professional Tools, and sales roles at IDEAL Industries including Key Account and District Sales Manager. Huekels holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Iowa.
