EVERETT, Wash. – Wes Pringle has been named President of Fluke Corporation. Pringle, who has been serving as President of Fluke Industrial, is now responsible for all Fluke global businesses, including Fluke Calibration, Fluke Biomedical and Fluke Automation. Pringle succeeds Barbara Hulit, Fluke President since 2004.
Pringle joined Fluke in 2012 from Whirlpool Corp. where he was the senior vice president of Integrated Business Units and was responsible for several consumer and commercial businesses. Prior to his tenure with Whirlpool, he spent more than ten years with major-brand corporations Warner Lambert, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson. He held progressively larger international leadership roles culminating in President/General Manager for Consumer Healthcare USA for Johnson & Johnson.
“I’m proud to be a part of this business and this team,” said Pringle. “Years ago our founder promised to give our customers a little more than they expected to receive. This is still what we focus on today.”
The appointment coincides with Fluke’s 65th year in business. From its very first benchtop power meter to the yellow handheld digital multimeters for which the company is best known, Fluke has grown into a worldwide leader in test and measurement, designing a diverse array of products ranging from thermal imagers to portable precision pressure calibrators and defibrillator analyzers.
