GE Lighting Names New Manager of Channel Integration

Jeanette Strainic has been named Manager, Channel Integration at GE Lighting. In this role, Strainic will be responsible for managing industry buying groups, trade associations, distribution and agent engagement. She will also drive measurements, communication, initiatives, events, and will support training surrounding the channel.

Strainic has been with GE Lighting for 28 years and most recently held the position of Manager of Programs & Strategic Initiatives. Prior to that role, Jeanette held national account sales and marketing management roles in three other GE businesses; Aircraft, Intelligent Solutions, and Appliances. She came to GE Lighting in 2006 as a marketing manager and in 2010 moved to the sales side in her former role.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to utilize Jeanette’s relationship with the industry to further our growth and support our mission,” said Jim Bracken, general manager of national accounts, LED specialty at GE Lighting.

Strainic holds a bachelors degree in management and in marketing from the University of Akron, Ohio. In addition, she is a GE Six Sigma Black Belt, facilitator, holds a position as a leader on her church’s parish council overseeing the direction of over 2,500 families, and is an avid volunteer in her community.

Jeanette and her husband John will continue to reside in Chagrin Falls, Ohio with their dog, Irish.
