If you travel to enough cities, you will find batches of purple streetlights. It might look interesting from a distance, but it provides poor lighting and it’s another case of a false promise that LED lighting will last forever. Many of these streetlights promised minimal care and 10-year warranties.
And then they didn’t keep those promises. Who is to blame, the lighting manufacturer or the people who believed the impossible claims.
