Graybar is making headlines on the datacom front this week.
Legrand Data Communications presented Graybar with its No. 1 Distributor Partner Award for 2011. Legrand gave the honor “…based on collaboration and support of all Legrand marketing programs, execution of [the supplier’s] vision throughout the Graybar organization and mutually driving profitable business together.”
In a separate news release, Graybar said it would launch “another method for network connections in commercial facilities.” The company plans to unveil the network solution at the BICSI winter event being held Feb. 12-16
The new system is called Direct Attach and is “the single connector modified permanent link method.” Graybar said Direct Attach is a “more secure solution” for security cameras, wireless access points and lighting controls.
