Externally, Graybar has expanded its Graybar PowerSmart® platform to offer both energy-efficient products and sustainable solutions to its customers. Regional Graybar PowerSmart teams have been formed to help customers save money by reducing energy usage. Furthermore, Graybar is also proud to announce the launch of Graybar PowerSmart Monthly, a new electronic newsletter that provides news and industry trends on energy efficiency and building intelligence. Internally, Graybar has been recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its energy efficiency efforts. Graybar recently earned EPA ENERGY STAR certification for 15 of its branches. The EPA awards ENERGY STAR certification to buildings that perform in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency and meet strict energy efficiency performance levels.

Graybar’s Tucson branch was awarded LEED gold certification in 2012.
