Graybar Raises More Than $116,000 For Charity

ST. LOUIS, April 11, 2013 – Graybar, a leading distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products and provider of related supply chain management and logistics services, today announced that it raised more than $116,000 over the past month for charities across the United States through its community platform, Graybar CARES.

Graybar employees, customers and manufacturers raised funds to benefit various charities focused on helping veterans and their families such as the Wounded Warrior Project, Semper Fi Fund and Feherty’s Troops First Foundation.

These charitable efforts served as a preview to the company’s national training conference held in San Antonio this week. The conference featured a keynote speech by Eric Greitens, founder of The Mission Continues, a nonprofit organization that empowers veterans to adjust to life at home by serving and succeeding in their communities. The conference also included a speech by General James T. Conway who served as the 34th Commandant of the United States Marine Corps.

“Graybar is committed to making a difference in the communities where we do business,” said Graybar Chairman, President and CEO Kathleen M. Mazzarella. “We are honored that we can give back to the service men and women who have given so much for our country. Thanks to our employees, manufacturers and customers for their overwhelming generosity and support.”
