ST. LOUIS, November 4, 2014 – Graybar, a leading distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products and provider of related supply chain management and logistics services, reported record net sales for the third quarter and the first nine months of the year.
For the third quarter of 2014, Graybar achieved record net sales of $1.57 billion, an increase of 5.6 percent compared to the same period in 2013. The company also reported $30.5 million in net income for the quarter, a 6.4 percent increase from the same period last year.
For the first nine months of the year, Graybar reported record net sales of $4.40 billion, a 3.8 percent increase from the same period last year. Net income for the first nine months of the year increased 21.1 percent to $70.8 million.
