Graybar, along with some key customers and suppliers, were quick to respond to the White House’s request to take an active role in helping our country through this crisis – specifically with the urgent need for personal protective equipment (PPE) at local hospitals.
“Working with industry and healthcare leaders, we developed a list of products from our industry that could help alleviate this critical PPE shortage,” said Graybar Chairman, President and CEO Kathy Mazzarella. “Graybar is donating many of these products to local hospitals, and we are also leading an effort to coordinate similar donations of PPE items with our customers and suppliers.”
The initial response has been very positive. Customers are already making donations and suppliers are actively evaluating PPE at their plants to determine what they can donate.
