Griffith Electric Celebrates 75 Years

Griffith Electric Supply Co., Trenton, NJ, celebrated their 75th Anniversary in grand style on September 18th with an open house.   As they have been at the same location for 75 years, it seemed only fitting that they hold the celebration where it all began in 1938.  Over 50 manufacturers exhibited their products, as over 300 customers came to celebrate the day, saw the new products exhibits, met the reps and enjoyed a nice buffet lunch.   Among the gathering were many of the former employees that according to President Bill Goodwin “…are the reason that we have been here for 75 years.” Someone commented that founder, Mrs. Griffith, who died in 2010 at age 101, would have been “proud and pleased” with the celebration.
