Hermitage Lighting Welcomes Fourth Generation

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Matt Fleischer, son of President and owner, Jack Fleischer, has joined Hermitage Lighting as an Account Manager for the National Accounts division of the company. He has had an impressive and diverse background in the lighting industry and is looking forward to working for the company that has been such a constant part of his life.

Matt Fleischer went to the University of Missouri and graduated with a degree in Personal Financial Planning in 2009. After graduation, he followed the family footsteps into the lighting industry. He moved to Washington, D.C., where he worked for a year as a manufacturer representative for Kichler, Jesco and a few other lines. He then moved to South Florida and worked for Farrey’s Lighting and Bath for three years, doing inside sales. His most recent position, before coming to Nashville, was working for Reggiani Lighting, still in South Florida, as Regional Sales Manager.

About the lighting industry, Fleischer said, “I enjoy lighting and think it’s an exciting time to be in the industry. I’m excited to begin my career with Hermitage Electric Supply, and look forward to working with everyone in the company.”

When Fleischer is not working, he enjoys many sports and loves playing basketball. He is engaged and will be getting married in November. He will be working for Hermitage National Accounts in Nashville, while training, and will then transition to South Florida, where he lives, and will work there remotely for the company.

Jack Fleischer said about his son joining the family business, “I am thrilled to have the fourth generation join Hermitage. I look forward to its continued success with his involvement.” Hermitage Lighting Gallery is pleased to welcome Matt Fleischer to the team and looks forward to his future success with the company.
